Abstract

This paper examines the relationship between organizational culture, mental health, and job satisfaction of employees of Macedonian higher education institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be concluded that different cultures can determine different behavior for the same event, and
hence obtain certain states of mental health, thereby measuring the degree of job satisfaction of employees of higher education institutions. The fact is that until now there is no data on research that connect the organizational culture, mental health, and satisfaction with the work of higher education institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia, when it comes to the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical basis for measuring organizational culture was the VOX Organizationis instrument, workplace burnout was measured by the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI)instrument, and
mental and emotional well-being through the 2-item Assessment of Mental Disorders in Primary Care, as well as instrument for measuring the task performance changes in workplace practices. The research shows that there is a relationship between organizational culture, mental health and job satisfaction of employees of Macedonian higher education institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
