Composition-induced FCC–BCC phase transition in Cu₂₋ₓAgₓSe superionic system

Abstract
FCC–BCC phase transition, which occurs in the high-temperature, superionic phase of Cu₂₋ₓAgₓSe at x near 1.4, is described as a possible consequence of the energy increase of Cu²⁺ ions caused by dilution of the Cu subsystem with Ag ions.
