Sažetak
The teaching process is a complex process in which students and teachers participate. The interaction and relationship between students and teachers is of great importance, as well as the classroom environment, which ensures that classes are held to mutual satisfaction. Beside that, parents also have an important role. They are an important link for the cooperation with teachers and maintaining a good atmosphere in the student – teacher – parent relation.
The satisfaction with school presents an important aspect of the student’s school perception, for the social and emotional development of children, and a pleasant and positive atmosphere is important.
It is also important that the teacher creates a positive environment towards the students with their actions and relationships. This paper is directed for the student and parental perception of the classroom environment and their satisfaction with school in general. The main goal of this conducted survey was to examine attitudes of teachers and students about their satisfaction with their school stay. 65 students and 71 parents participated in this research. A significant connection in attitudes and opinions was discovered, regarding their satisfaction in school and the quality of school life. The obtained results confirm satisfaction on both sides regarding the school life and school success by taking care about the welfare of students and their emotions.
