Collection of Molise Croats in the Library of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts

Abstract

With the aim of expanding the knowledge regarding the special library collections of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts Library, as well as preserving and promoting minority cultural heritage, this paper presents the process of forming both the physical and virtual Collection of Molise Croats. It describes the procedures of acquisition, processing, preservation, and promotion of library materials whose thematic diversity bears witness to the social, cultural, and religious life of the Molise Croats. Furthermore, the paper provides an overview of the cooperation between the CASA Library and the Molise Croatian community.
