Development and Perspective of Zagreb as a Traffic Node of European Importance

Sažetak
The results of the former researches of Zagreb traffic development and of its role in the development of the city are first synthetized in this work. After that the modern possibilities of evaluation of the Zagreb traffic node are examinated. They are essentially influenced by new political relations and integration processes in Europe. The position and the traffic functions of Zagreb within the bounds of Croatia are analyzed, as well as the conditions of its development as a traffic node of European importance.
