Abstract

After the beginning of the application of The Law on Maritime Fishing of Official Gazette of The Republic of Croatia No. 56/10, there has been stressed some significant questions on work and work relations in this activity, either in catch or in mariculture (breeding). Marine fishing is an activity of marine technology having numerous characteristics as well as other accompanyng activities being taught.
The law is in compliance with legal acquirement of The European Union.
The law and work relations besides breeding and catch of biogical marine resources requires both craft and gear as well as qualified workers in this activity.The conditions for carrying out economic fishing at sea, the conditions that fishermen must fulfill, certificates, fishing gear etc. Qualified fishermen work aboard fishing fleet. Other workers occupy the positions of different qualifications related to marine fishing.
It is an interdisciplinary area and it should be studied in this way.
