Abstract

Aerial photographs are increasingly used as the main data sources for remote sensing of various activities in space, thus being of great benefit to physical planning. This paper consists of three parts. The first part gives a review and characteristics of particular types of photographs. The second part is a research on the possibilites of using the available photographs through a digital image processing. The third part refers to various possibilities of their application which might prove useful to urban and physical planners.
