Abstract

The paper discusses the inappropriate expression of distinctive character between justice and compassion, which is in the particular way reflected both within the modern society and scientific literature. One example of this tendency is political philosophy of Martha Nussbaum. The author re examines Nussbaum’s political philosophy using the comparative analysis. Such a re-examination results with the critique of Nussbaum’s standpoints and with the clearer understanding of the concepts of justice, compassion, and love.
