Abstract
The relation between inheritance and outside factors in the production of milk cows should always be observed together. Thus milk production from every cow can be achieved as conditioned by its inheritance. Among all the outside factors affecting milk production special attention should be paid to feeding. In the high production period each animal should be considered seperately. The basic problem in feeding milk cows of high productivity is keeping the biocemistry of the rumen in its optimal condition in relation to the particular production. The rumen biochemistry is of vital importance in ruminants and its depends on the way of feeding, the way of preparing meals and distributing them during 24 hours. Feeding and raising the young should not be neglected, particularly in the first stages of life, often not given the attention they deserve and which influences not only the formation of physical constitution of the future milk cows but also growth of milk glands.
