Abstract
These examinations are based on swine farm records at the Gornje Dobrevo (PIK ,“Kosovo - Export" - Priština), for swedish landrace. The exaqmination involved 181 dams and 398 daughters (F1 generation). The dams are with 10 litters and daughters are with 6 litters. Total number of piglets and number of stillbirths of piglets ,is shown in table 1 (for dams) and table 2 (for daughters) . On the basis of the rezults obtained. the following conclusions may be drawn: 1. Average number of piglets (live and still) in the litter of dams was 10,06 ± 0,005, average 10 litters, and varied between 9,33 ± 0,03 (1st litter) and 10,55 ± 0,03 (4 th litter). 2. Number of stillbirths of piglets in the litter of dams was 0,31 + 0,0005 or 3,06 %, average 10 litters, and varied between 0.13 ± 0,0014 or 1,36% (1st litter) and 0,79 ± 0,0410 or 8,09% (9 th litter). 3. Average number of piglets in the litter of daughters was 9,26 ± 0,023. This number varied between 8,91 ± 0,01 ( 1sit litter) and 11,75 ± 1,69 (6 th litter). 4. Average number of stillbirths of piglets in litter of daughters, in all litters, was 0,27± 0,0006 or 2,93%, and, was the smallest 0,19 ± 0,0016 or 2,01% (2 and litter) and was the highest 0,87 ± 0,3750 or 7,45% (6 th litter). 5. The difference in the total number of piglets of dams and daughters was significant per 1st and 3th litter (P (0,05). 6. The difference in the number of stillbirths of piglets in the litter of dams and daughters was significant per 1st litter (P < 0,01).
