SEROLOGICAL DETECTION OF ARABIS MOSAIC VIRUS IN GRAPE VINE AND SWEET CHERRY BY GEL-PRECIPITIN TECHNIQUE

Abstract
Sap expressed from leaves of Grape vine infected with Fan leaf and from Chenopodium amaranticolor inoculated with a virus isolated from sweet cherry were tested serologicaly by Gel diffusion technique with antiserum to AMV, Undiluted sap from both, grape vine and Ch. amaranticolor formed single precipitation lines with AMV antiserum.
