Integrating international quality systems standards into hotel operations

Abstract
In an increasingly competitive marketplace, the management of quality will be the most important factor for the future success of hotel operations. A systematic approach to quality management is provided by international quality systems standards. The effective implementation of these standards is
not straightforward. It requires hotel companies to reengineer all aspects of their businesses.
