Abstract

Medical treatment is essentially a personal relation between the doctor and patient and the doctors among themselves. The principal subject of therapeutic relation is the person of physician. The author analyses the old definition of the doctor: „Vir bonus, sanandi peritus!“. The good relations between medical practitioners also contribute to the quality of therapy. But the primordial medical cure belongs to the person of the patient. He is the center of empathy and sympathy for doctors' actions.
