A Relevant Segment of the Architectural Heritage - Blocks of Flats Built After the Second World War

Abstract
Blocks of flats built after the Second World War are a specific and very extensive category of buildings whose present unattractive appearance is the result of substandard construction and inadequate maintenance. They are usually very similar in type, often locationally concentrated and of ill-favoured design. The technically-imposed partial reconstruction of these buildings opens up the possibility of improving their appearance and enhancing diversification.
