Abstract

The geodetic-spatial system as a fundamental infrastructural system of the state, with all its subsystems, is presented. The role of an efficient and effective cadastral subsystem in the creation of the geodetic-spatial information basis, which enable the value of the permanent contents of space to be introduced as capital into the state's financial flows, and the rational decision-making on relations between the man and the space in all human technological and economic activities, is described. The trends of development of geodetic-spatial systems in West-Europe, with the emphasis on the cadastral subsystems, are concisely exposed. The Austrian cadastral system with recognition of homomorphy of the Croatian cadastral system, are presented in detail. The trend of development of the Croatian geodetic-spatial system is designated.
