Abstract

Pottery from the collection of Grgur Bučić, a prolific researcher on the island of Hvar, is analyzed in this paper. This
pottery originated in Markova Cave (on the island of Hvar),
and a variety of ceramic forms (bowls, pots, cups, beakers) are
present that may be dated from the Neolithic to the Middle
Ages based on their decorations, handles and shapes.
