Abstract

The continuous development of the legislative framework in the Republic of France resulted
in the formation of a general position on the need to establish the “principle of the quality of legal
regulations”. The limitation of this principle and the way it is implemented in the process of adoption
by public law bodies is highlighted especially through the remarks that were made during public
consultation with the aim of improving the quality of their effectiveness. Despite all efforts, it can
be concluded that significant progress has not been made in the quality of the legal system in recent
times.
