Abstract

Superconvergent dispersion sum rules for ρ ρ → ρ ρ and ρ A1 → ρ A1 forward scatterings are formulated and their dynamical content within certain saturatin hypotheses is studied in terms of relevant coupling constants. The approximate solution obtained for the coupling constants in the ρ A1 case implies the Schnitzer-Weinberg parameter δ close to -1, in agreement with predictions following from the Veneziano representation and supporting the general idea of universality of the p-meson charge coupling. A rough solution of the ρ ρ case sum rules is followed by a mass relation experimentally verified within 10%.
