Abstract

The challenge of conceiving a child naturally is becoming increasingly prevalent among the population of the Republic of Croatia. As a result, many individuals turn to medical professionals and consent to undergoing procedures for medically assisted reproduction. Although the public is generally familiar with these procedures, there is limited awareness regarding the rights of individuals participating in medically assisted reproduction processes, including married, cohabiting, and other legally capable individuals who are eligible for parental care. The aim of this paper is to inform individuals who due to infertility or other medical conditions are unable to conceive naturally about their rights during medically assisted reproduction procedures, carried out with the goal of achieving desired conception, pregnancy, and the birth of a healthy child.

Keywords
