Abstract
The purpose of this paper was to present agrotechnical interventions in the production of corn grains, namely grain yield, 1000 grain weight and hectoliter mass of corn grains, as well as an economic analysis of production per unit area. Data and workbooks of the family farm “Fuček Aleksandra” were used for the period from 2020 to 2024. All agrotechnical measures and interventions, from basic fertilization to harvest, were carried out within optimal agrotechnical deadlines. The average mass of 1000 corn grains varied from 340 g (2023) to 390 g (2021), while the hectoliter mass of corn grains was the highest in 2021 (75.4 kg) and the lowest in 2023 (72.6 kg). The realized corn grain yield ranged in the following order: 14.8 (2023) < 15.2 (2022) < 15.5 (2024) < 15.7 (2020) < 16.6 (2021). The average production costs per hectare of production amounted to € 998.02, and the net profit was € 1,243.08.
