Abstract

Rudolf Mosinger (1865–1918) was a photographer, printer, publisher, innovator, and entrepreneur. Through an analysis of tens of thousands of postcards produced by Rudolf Mosinger’s Light-Printing Institute between 1901 and 1911, this study offers new insights into
the operation of the institute and its postcard factory (Anzichtenkarten-Fabrik). The article examines the emergence and development of the factory, its activity within the Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia, the export of postcards to international markets, and its collaboration with photographers, publishers, printers, entrepreneurs, and artists such as Robert Auer, Salomon Berger, Richard Kratky, and Sergius Hruby.
