Grisogono’s Leap Forward into the New Science

Abstract

1. F. Grisogono vs. classical notion of science (against the notion of strong science);
2. F. Grisogono and “modern science” (why does not he have any connection with this alleged
era of science);
3. F. Grisogono and the new science (only the name corresponds with the one brought upon by G. Vico, but it does not correspond with Vico’s notion, which primarily refers to history; a new, wider meaning is hidden under this title – the one explicated by Bacon, Galilei and Comte. What does Grisogono as an ancestor, especially of Comte, have to say about this?).
Finally, we conclude with specific assessment of the role that Grisogono gives to astrology.
