Quantitative analysis of the citation rate of the scientific papers from the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health in Zagreb

Sažetak
The citation rate of the scientific papers published by the members of the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health in Zagreb in the 1948-1977 period was examined by means of the Science Citation Index. Distribution of citation frequency was analysed and the papers which received ≥ 5 citations were quantitatively assessed by means of a previously developed holistic model. The contribution of the authors from other research institutions in the country and abroad was estimated. The fields of research and research groups which produced scientific information with the highest impact were identified.
