Sažetak

The paper deals with the implementation of the rules of international humanitarian law in the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the manner in which this implementation has been carried out. In this paper the Author analyzes the most important principles of international humanitarian law, from the principle of non-retroactivity of criminal law and universal jurisdiction, to the protection of certain categories of persons and objects, the use of protective signs in armed conflict, the command responsibility and the duty to disobey manifestly illegal orders.
