Sažetak
In comparison with the broadening of the subject and methodology
of ethnomusicology worldwide, the article shows the theorical
starting points and scope of Croatian ethnomusicology over the
last fifty years. In the central part of the article, the theoretical
framework of Croatian ethnomusicology, which was laid down in
the mid-Seventies under the influence of folkloristics, is
considered, and the results of its application to research is
evaluated. The article also reviews the most recent undertakings of
ethnomusicologists in Croatia.
