Policies

Plagiarism policy

Journal does not and will not support any possible or actual plagiarism. If authors feel that some parts could be described as plagiarism, even if are used proper quotations and citations in the text, they need to report it as part of the submission.

Ethics policy

Possible researching funds
Any source of funding for research or publication should always be disclosed. When are known organization and contract number of grants, funds, or similar information should be included.

Authorship and acknowledgment
Authorship credit should be based on: substantial contributions to conception and design, or acquisition of data, or analysis and interpretation of data; drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content; and final approval of the version to be published. Authors should meet all these conditions based on a definition of authorship of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Contributors who do not qualify as authors should be listed in an acknowledgment to describe the given help. The authors' contribution sections are an obligatory part of the manuscript at the very end.

Collecting authorship information
All authors meet the appropriate authorship criteria, and that nobody who qualifies for authorship has been omitted from the list as part of their initial submission package.

Redundant (multiple) publications
Journal instruction clearly explains the type of papers that are published regularly. Authors need clearly
explain what is, if any, included partially or wholly in prior publications. It could be abstracts, posters,
papers, books, databases, and archives (public or not). If the editor evaluates that submission is not
substantially different from such previous results, it could be rejected. Journals also may accept the republication of materials that have been accurately translated from an original publication in a different
language but only with appropriate permission(s) of all copyright holders.

Use of generative text tools  ̶̶   AI policy

Authors are fully responsible for the originality, validity, and integrity of the content of their manuscript and must ensure that it complies with all of Prostor’s publication ethics policies.

The author needs to acknowledge any use of generative writing tools (Al bot, ChatGPT or other large language models). Parts of the manuscript that were written using such tools must be clearly indicated, and the prompts and questions should be stated transcript. Use the Acknowledgments, Materials and Methods or Comments to Editor Sections to indicate it.

Peer review policy

Peer review, equally national and international peer review, only scientific papers, double blind review.

Authorship policy

Authorship must be reserved for individuals who: make a substantial intellectual contribution to the conception and design of the study; AND/OR, the collection of research data; AND/OR, the analysis and interpretation of research data. Who make a substantial contribution to the drafting of the manuscript (e.g. article, paper or essay, book) and/or substantially to its critical revision; AND approve the final version of the manuscript submitted for publication; AND agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work by ensuring that all questions related to the accuracy and integrity of any part of the work are investigated and resolved with due care. In addition to being accountable for the parts of the work he or she has prepared, an author must be able to identify which co-authors are responsible for other specific parts of the work. Finally, authors must have justified confidence in the integrity of their co-authors' contributions.

Complaint and Appeal policy

Complaint about scientific content, e.g. an appeal against rejection
The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor considers the authors’ argument, the reviewer reports and decides whether
- The decision to reject should stand;
- Another independent opinion is required
- The appeal should be considered.
The complainant is informed of the decision with an explanation if appropriate. Decisions on appeals are final and new submissions take priority over appeals.

Complaint about processes, e.g. time taken to review
The Editor-in-Chief together with the Handling Editor (where appropriate) and/or in-house contact (where appropriate) will investigate the matter. The complainant will be given appropriate feedback. Feedback is provided to relevant stakeholders to improve processes and procedures.

Complaint about publication ethics, e.g., researcher's author's, or reviewer's conduct
The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor follows guidelines published by the Committee on Publication Ethics. The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor may ask the publisher via their in-house contact for advice on difficult or complicated cases. The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor decides on a course of action and provides feedback to the complainant. If the complainant remains dissatisfied with the handling of their complaint, he or she can submit the complaint to the Committee on Publication Ethics.

Retraction policy

If the authors made an honest error or discover the major flaws in their work, they can retract the
paper. The online version will then be marked as ’retracted by authors’. All links to the retracted article
will be maintained. If the editors, reviewers or readers notice a case of duplicate or overlapping
publication, fraudulent use of data, plagiarism or unethical research, the paper will be, after an internal
review by the editor, retracted, in which case the online version will then be marked as ’retracted by
editor’. All links to the retracted article will be maintained. All retractions will be done in accordance
with the COPE retraction guidelines.

Corrections policy

All authors should account for the accuracy of the published data. Correction of data should be done
before the final printing of the paper. For that reason, the corresponding author receives the galley
proof of the paper and is asked to correct it carefully and in timely manner (within 48 h) before
publication. If authors find a major mistake or error in the published version of the article, an Erratum
will be published in the first available issue and posted online.
