Abstract
It is widely known that canopy management influence yield parameters, as well as chemical composition of grapes. The quality of table grape cultivars depends upon sugar and total acidity content in grapes, but average cluster and berry weight also play a very important role in evaluation of outward grape appearance. In purpose of examination of cluster and berry thinning impact on the quality of table grape cultivars Black magic and Victoria, sugar content, total acidity level and average weight of clusters and berries was measured.
Generally, berry thinning exposed very positive impact on cultivar Victoria, by increasing average berry weight, sugar content in grapes and decreasing of total acidity level. Cluster thinning showed no impact on yield parameters, but increasing of sugar content and lowering of total acidity level in the grapes of Victoria was recorded.
