Sažetak
In this research the effects of land size on utilization level, working hours per year and the total power of tractor on ten family farms were investigated. Family farms with more land were found to utilize their agricultural machinery much better, especially B category tractors, while the utilization of A category tractors was significantly smaller. Correlation coefficient between land size and number of A category tractors was r = 0.16 and determination coefficient was R² = 0.0269, while for B category tractors r was 0.82, and R² was 0.6859.
Coefficients for C category tractors were not calculated because of insufficient data for the statistics. The effect of land size on the required number of working hours for A category tractors was weak because of a low correlation coefficient (r = 0.22) and determination coefficient (R2 = 0.0513) between the variables. For the B category tractors much greater correlation coefficient (r = 0.83) and determination coefficient (R2 = 0.6936) were found. For the C category tractors the coefficients were not calculated because of insufficient data for statistics. Land size effect on the total tractor power was shown to have the highest coefficient of correlation (r = 0.86) and determination (R2 = 0.7488).
