Dragi čitatelji časopisa Bosniaca,

pred vama se nalazi novi broj časopisa, koji izdaje Nacionalna i univerzitetska biblioteka Bosne i Hercegovine, s namjerom da kontinuirano pruža stručne i naučne informacije te prati znanstvena dostignuća u oblasti bibliotečkih i informacionih nauka.

Časopis Bosniaca sadržajno obrađuje niz aktuelnih tema iz domena bibliotečko-informacijskog sistema, dokumentarnog naslijeđa, informacija i servisa u novom tehnološkom okruženju. Ovo izdanje obuhvata 11 naučnih i stručnih članaka te dva prikaza koji sa stanovišta kvaliteta, naučne i stručne relevantnosti u potpunosti zadovoljavaju kriterije neophodne za publikovanje rada u našem časopisu.

Prvi tematski blok o bibliotečko-informacijskim sistemima otvaramo radom autorica Ane Barbarić i Anite Katulić pod nazivom “Važnost pismenosti o privatnosti u preovladavanju digitalnog jaza s naglaskom na ulogu knjižnica”, a u narednom radu autorica Slobodanka Ključanin donosi “Prijedlog modela baze podataka za evidentiranje karata i kartografske građe samostana Duha Svetoga u Fojnici”. Blok nastavljamo radom autorica Andreje Zubac i Ane Barbarić pod nazivom “Utjecaj narodne knjižnice na kvalitetu života nezaposlenih građana”, te radom “Metafizika biblioteka” autorice Emire Kulenović. O katalogizaciji u publikaciji (CIP) u Narodnoj biblioteci Srbije piše autorica Nataša Simić.

U drugom tematskom bloku Dokumentarno naslijeđe između ostalog donosimo zanimljivu priču o Otvaranju i radu muslimanskih čitaonica u manjim mjestima Bosne i Hercegovine početkom 20. stoljeća autorice Hane Younis. Rad uposlenika NUBBiH i Mehmeda Kardaša o Poljičkim ispravama, dokumentima iz arhiva Poljičke republike pisanim bosančicom, koji se nalaze u Specijalnim zbirkama, daju sliku koja svjedoči o prošlosti naše zemlje i naroda koji u njoj živi. U nastavku ove tematske cjeline je rad autorice Vesne Živković koja nam predstavlja povijesni prikaz uništenja Univerzitetske biblioteke u Luvenu u Prvom svjetskom ratu. Blok završavamo radom o značaju bibliografija i bibliografa u radu Orijentalnog instituta u Sarajevu autorice Lamije Hatibović.

Želeći da što bolje pratimo zanimljive teme iz svijeta modernog savremenog bibliotekarstva, u bloku Informacije i servisi u novom tehnološkom okruženju donosimo radove koji će zasigurno privući vašu pažnju. Predstavljamo rad o poslovanju u visokoškolskim bibliotekama u Federaciji Bosne i Hercegovine za vrijeme pandemije COVID-19 autorica Lejle Hajdarpašić, Senade Dizdar i Džejle Khatab. U ovom bloku nastavljamo s temom iz prošlog broja o grabežljivim izdavačima, autora Alexandru-Ionuţa Petrişora, čiji je rad usmjeren na izlaganje najekstremnijih strategija grabežljivosti, nastojeći ukazati na razliku između poštenih i grabežljivih časopisa te kako prepoznati osnovne karakteristike loših časopisa.

Broj završava dvama prikazima knjiga. Senada Dizdar prikazuje publikaciju autorice Lejle Kodrić Zaimović pod naslovom Baštinske studije (NUBBiH 2021). Drugo djelo našim čitaocima predstavlja Valerijan Žujo. Knjiga Ubiše nam Ferdinanda, autora Martina Ježeka i Pavela Trojana prilog je dugoj i razuđenoj povijesti češko-južnoslavenskih odnosa (NUBBiH 2021).

Vjerujemo da ćete i ovaj put pronaći zanimljivo štivo za čitanje.

Dear readers of Bosniaca journal,

in front of you is a new issue of the journal, published by the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the intention of continuously providing professional and scientific information and monitoring scientific achievements in the field of library and information sciences.

Journal Bosniaca substantially covers a number of current topics in the domain of library information system, documentary heritage, information and services in the new technological environment. This issue covers 11 scientific and professional articles as well as two reviews, which from the quality perspective, scientific and professional relevance, fully meet the criteria necessary for publishing the paper in our journal.

The first thematic block on library information systems we open with the paper of authors Ana Barbarić and Anita Katulić entitled "The Importance of Privacy Literacy in Bridging the Digital Divide with an Emphasis on the Role of Libraries", and in the next paper Slobodanka Ključanin brings the "Proposal of a Database Model for Recording Maps and Cartographic Material of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Fojnica”. We continue the block with the paper of the authors Andreja Zubac and Ana Barbarić entitled "Influence of the Public Library on Unemployed Citizens’ Quality of Life", and the paper "Metaphysics of the Library" by the author Emira Kulenović. The author Nataša Simić writes about Cataloguing in Publication (CIP) in The National Library of Serbia.

In the second thematic block Documentary Heritage, among other things, we bring you an interesting story about the Opening and Operation of Muslim Reading Rooms in Smaller Places of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Beginning of the 20th Century by author Hana Younis. The paper of NULBIH employees and Mehmed Kardaš on Poljica documents, documents from the Archive of the Poljica Republic written in Bosančica, which are kept in the Special Collections, give a picture that testifies to the past of our country and the people who live in it. In the continuation of this thematic section is the paper of the author Vesna Živković, who presents a historical overview of the destruction of the University Library in Leuven in the First World War. We end the block with a paper on the importance of bibliographies and bibliographers in the work of the Oriental Institute in Sarajevo by author Lamija Hatibović.

In wish to follow as closely as possible interesting topics from the world of modern, contemporary librarianship, in the block Information and services in the new technological environment, we bring papers that will surely attract your attention. We present a paper on business activities in Academic libraries in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the COVID-19 pandemic by authors Lejla Hajdarpašić, Senada Dizdar and Džejla Khatab. In this block, we continue with a topic from a previous issue on predatory publishers, by author Alexandru-Ionuţ Petrişor, whose work focuses on exposing the most extreme predatory strategies, trying to point out the difference between genuine and predatory journals and how to recognize the basic characteristics of poor journals.

The issue ends with two book reviews. Senada Dizdar presents a publication by author Lejla Kodrić Zaimović entitled Heritage Studies (NULBIH 2021). The second work is presented to our readers by Valerijan Žujo. The book They've killed our Ferdinand, by authors Martin Ježek and Pavel Trojan, is a contribution to the long and fragmented history of Czech-South Slavic relations (NULBIH 2021).
