Sažetak
Self employment is a very promising and effective way of solving the work status and realizing an entrepreneurial idea. Grant beneficiaries are enabled to focus on work, development and training, without having to worry about initial capital. The very entry into entrepreneurship without bank debt is a great opportunity to conquer the market and develop the entrepreneur himself. An active policy of self-employment and investment in the development of entrepreneurship has so far proven to be very desirable and continues to reduce unemployment. This paper will explain the ways in which an entrepreneurial business process can be started with the support offered by the Croatian Employment Service. In the introductory part, a theoretical overview of starting an entrepreneurial venture will be presented, followed by a detailed analysis of the steps required to obtain individual grants, and at the very end of the paper, a survey questionnaire that was used to collect the necessary data for the creation of this paper.
