Abstract

After a brief discussion on the intersections between
teaching language and teaching literature, the paper
addresses the methodological dimension of teaching
literature by analysing the cooperative learning model
and hermeneutic approach as well as its implementation
in secondary school with L1 or L2/LS learners
of Italian (starting with a B2 level of the CEFR). Accordingly,
the paper focuses on the qualifying characteristics
of the hermeneutic approach, the qualifying
characteristics of the cooperative learning model,
the role of the teacher in student-centred learning
approach. Finally, the paper concludes that the hermeneutic
approach and cooperative learning model
could be efficient tools for students to acquire skills
and competencies required by society and the world
of work.
