Abstract
School sports in classroom teaching aim to encourage as many children as possible to engage in active sports, helping them develop physical exercise habits. Sports encompass both physical and mental activities performed according to specific rules to achieve the best possible results. By developing everyday physical exercise skills, children also adopt other human values: cooperation, teamwork, discipline, respect for rules, acceptance of individual differences, and the cultivation of a competitive spirit. External coaches closely collaborate with kinesiologists in elementary schools, using their coaching and pedagogical competencies to emphasise the importance of school sports as a quality way to spend free time in modern life. School sports societies have a developed competition system, structured physical exercise programmes, and the necessary material, personnel, and social working conditions. Through their participation, students contribute to the organisation and functioning of school sports societies in classroom teaching.
