Sažetak
The adoption of the Paris Agreement on climate change in 2015 and the UN 2030 Agenda for
Sustainable Development in the same year has had a significant impact on risk management
across all financial institutions. The integration of environmental, social, and governance

the paper lies in the fact that by examining the risks and opportunities associated with ESG
risk factors in the BiH insurance industry, this paper will contribute to the broader discourse
on sustainable insurance in developing markets and offer valuable insights for policymakers,
regulators, insurance companies, and their stakeholders.
