Abstract

Photocatalysis is one of the most promising advanced oxidation methods for the degradation of organic pollutants in aqueous solutions. Artificial and natural sources, especially solar radiation, are used as radiation sources. The radiation intensities of different UV-A LED modules of different power (20 and 30 W) were measured experimentally as a function of the source voltage at different distances from the surface of the model solution (2 and 3 cm). The results obtained show an exponential dependence of the UV radiation intensity on the voltage of the power source.
