This paper provides a brief overview of the hundred-year history of the Czech Association (Češka beseda) Gornji Daruvar, one of four Czech minority associations operating in the Daruvar area. The association was founded in 1924 as the Havlíček
Theatre Circle, established as a branch by the theatre section of the Daruvar association (beseda). Throughout its hundred-year existence, the association has undergone various phases, experiencing numerous successes and crises. Despite these challenges, it has remained a driving force and the primary implementer of social and cultural activities within the village.
