Sažetak
The proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) and related technologies, such as artificial neural networks (ANN), has triggered a profound transformation in the way organizations operate, permeating numerous functional areas, including the Important field of human resource management (HRM). This paper examines the potential benefits and challenges of integrating these advanced technologies into HRM, with a focus on reviewing the situation within the scientific community in Croatia, where there is not a single scientific paper by domestic authors on this topic. The central research question of this review explores the potential benefits and challenges of integrating artificial neural networks and artificial intelligence into human resource management systems. The search results indicate an increasing application of machine learning (ML) in various aspects of human resource management. The choice of this topic was mainly influenced by the growing importance of artificial intelligence in scientific and business environments. In Croatia, however, the scientific consideration of this topic is still in its infancy, which represents an interesting avenue for research. This topic is highly relevant as it highlights potential transformations in human resource management that could lead to significant changes in the way organisations work and collaborate with their employees.
