Sažetak
This article examines preferred mental resilience channels among members of Generation Z entering the labor market in Poland and Croatia. It presents results from a pilot cross-national study based on Mooli Lahad’s BASIC Ph model, used here as an exploratory framework for mapping coping-channel preferences rather than for testing causal relations. The study aims to identify descriptive differences in resilience profiles between Polish and Croatian business administration students and to discuss their possible relevance for HRM practice oriented toward well-being and sustainable employability. In the pilot sample, Polish students reported higher mean preferences for the Cognition and Social channels, whereas Croatian students more often favored the Physical and Belief channels. The findings suggest that young people in the two samples may draw on somewhat different resilience resources, which may be useful when designing context-sensitive HRM interventions; however, these implications should be treated as preliminary because the study is exploratory and descriptive in character.
