Abstract

Due to the high digestibility and dietetic value of fish proteins, fish farming becomes an increasingly important branch of cattle raising, in respect of animal origin food production. Despite prophylactic measures, the production conditions are in favour of fish disease outbreak and spreading, which need to be treated by appropriate medicinal preparations. Based on the fact that vitamins and minerals participate in the metabolism of certain enzymes and co-enzymes, making the inorganic composition of the body and improving the general health condition, the studies of some frequent fish diseases treatment was carried out. The results of studies performed in laboratory and fish farms show the 100% cure of some specific trout, carp, grass carp and beak-headed carp diseases, upon the use of complete trout or carp fingerling feed supplement with antibiotics and chemotherapeutic plus vitamin-mineral additives. Treatment without the addition of vitamin-mineral premix resulted in 90% cure rate.
