LEGAL ARRANGEMENT OF EXPROPRIATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

Abstract

The question of expropriation in Croatia is settled with the Expropriation and Determining of Compensation Act from 2014. This paper shows legal arrangement of expropriation procedure: expropriation benefi ciary, expropriation types, temporary taking possesssion of neighbouring land,
expropriation procedure, fees for expropriated property, cessation of mortgage, easement and other real rights, property rights registration and judicial protection in expropriation.
