Abstract

The work deals with cognitions and reflections concerning monitoring, testing and evaluating children in the class.
The authors stress it is not satisfactory just to control/check and evaluate only the acquisition of knowledge, skills and habits, but also to control the development of attitudes, judgemental capabilities, personal and social adaptability, development of interests, subjective and objective abilities in the development of a child as a multi-versatile humane and happy being.
Evaluating pupils in the class is a composed and complex procedure where the only possibility a teacher has to help himself within his subject is to create an effective system of recording, checking and evaluating the pupil. Besides, this system has to be compatible with the general school system.
