Abstract

Home for the elderly and infirm in Pozega has been opened since 1991. It is located in the narrow center of the
town, near the Pozega’s old city and near the Pozega’s Baroque Square. This location has a significant influence on
the life quality of the elderly persons who live in it. That is because the position enabled them to live life of the
town and its residents, particularly through daily walks, church going, theater, exhibitions visiting, market visiting.
The Home is a holder of three projects that significantly improved the quality of life of elderly persons in the area of
Pozega.
