PUBLICATIONS OF THE SENJ GLAGOLITIC PRINTING PRESS IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
Technologies have provided us with new possibilities in the presentation and accessibility of Glagolitic heritage. Digital technologies have opened the way to connecting materials and heritage institutions; therefore, the paper presents and analyses the websites of institutions and individuals, as well as several thematic portals that deal with Glagolitic heritage. In particular, the publications of the Senj Glagolitic Printing Press, which are available on digital portals, are presented. The analysis will indicate the levels of information and data provided by individual websites and portals, the user population that they are intended for, as well as virtual exhibitions and their purpose. The main goal of the paper is to demonstrate the necessity of digitising and collecting digital Glagolitic heritage, as well as the need for its presentation, popularisation and further valorisation. The paper highlights the importance of scientists, experts and librarians in the preservation, collection and presentation of the Senj Glagolitic heritage.
