Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission has not been published earlier and has not been under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The abstract is between 100 and 250 words in length. The paper has between 4500 and 6500 words (including references).

 

My paper is professionally edited (preferably by a native speaker).

At the end of the paper, a reference list is numbered and alphabetized by the last name of the first author of each source.

APA style is used for references.

Izvorni znanstveni rad može biti i prethodno priopćenje koje sadrži nove znanstvene rezultate koji traže hitno objavljivanje, a istraživanja su u tijeku. Takav rad/članak ne mora omogućavati ponavljanje i provjeru prikazanih rezultata. Objavljuje se samo uz pisanu obavezu autora da nakon toga objavi i izvorni znanstveni članak po završetku istraživanja.

Scientific review paper

Pregledni znanstveni rad je cjelovit pregled nekog problema ili područja istraživanja na osnovi većobjavljenih radova, ali sadrži originalne analize, sinteze ili prijedloge za daljnja istraživanja. Ima opsežniji uvod i raspravu nego izvorni znanstveni rad. Ova se kategorija rada razlikuje od izvornog znanstvenog rada prvenstveno u činjenici da ne donosi nove znanstvene spoznaje (rezultate).

Expert work

Stručni rad obrađuje određene probleme koji se javljaju u određenoj struci. On daje stručne naputke i prijedloge kako se taj problem može riješiti (tehnika, tehnologija, metodika).

Review expert paper

Pregledni stručni rad daje cjeloviti pregled određenog stručnog problema (tehnika, tehnologija, metodika) na temelju većobjavljenih radova i upućuje na najbolje načine rješavanja navedenog problema.
