Abstract

On the occasion of the 210th anniversary of the birth of Croatian ban Ivan Mažuranić, an international scientific conference was held in Novi Vinodolski on October 10 and 11, 2024. The conference brought together thirty scientists of different profiles from five countries, and was created as a result of the joint cooperation of the Faculty of Law in Rijeka with the Institute for Historical and Social Sciences of the HAZU in Rijeka with the regional unit in Pula, the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged, the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and the National library Novi Vinodolski. The review explains the presentations in detail and emphasizes the common conclusions that confirmed the unquestionable importance of ban Mažuranić for Croatian science and culture.
