Call for Papers – 10th International Conference Vallis Aurea: Economics and Tourism
It is our great pleasure to announce that the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega (Croatia), the Faculty of Tourism in Brežice (Slovenia), the Faculty of Economics in Uzhhorod (Ukraine), the Centre for Budget Studies (India), and the Hospitality Management and Tourism School (Uzbekistan) are jointly organising the
10th International Conference Vallis Aurea on Economics and Tourism,
which will be held on 17–18 September 2026 in Požega, Croatia.
The 10th International Conference Vallis Aurea: Economics and Tourism is a well-established scientific event that brings together leading researchers and experts from around the world.
Since its inception in 2008, Vallis Aurea has evolved into a respected interdisciplinary platform focusing on economics, sustainable tourism, innovation, and rural development.
There are no fees for authors to submit or publish papers.
The five best conference papers will have the opportunity to publish an extended version free of charge in a special issue of the journal Sustainable, Smart and Inclusive Perspectives in Tourism and Hospitality (Q2, indexed in Scopus).
The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of advanced research, innovative ideas, and practical solutions that contribute to sustainable economic growth, regional competitiveness, and the transformation of tourism and related industries.
All participants are required to submit a full paper. Accepted papers may be presented in one of the following formats:
- Oral presentation (in person or online)
- Poster presentation (in person)
All presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings Book with an ISSN number. The official languages of the Conference are Croatian and English. Selected papers will be published in the scientific journal Vallis Aurea (Journal of Sustainable Development and Innovation), indexed in databases. All full papers will be double-blind reviewed.
