Sažetak

The purpose of this paper is to compare the use of agile project management
versus hybrid project management, as well as to examine the growing popularity
of scientific literature on this topic. The paper describes both types of project
management using methods of analysis, synthesis and comparison. Two scientific
databases, Scopus and Web of Science, were analyzed for the period from
2014 to 2024 for assessing the popularity of the topic in scientific publication
by using the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews
and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews) framework. The results
showed that both forms of project management have advantages and disadvantages
and that in the last few years the popularity of scientific literature of the
mentioned topic has been increasing. The conclusion is that the organization
itself must decide which form of project management is the most effective and
efficient for its project objectives.
