The impact of the opening of business incubators, centers and agencies on the opening of new companies in Zagreb county

Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to consider and show how the
opening of business incubators, centers and agencies affects the
opening of new companies in Zagreb County, comparing the period
since their establishment with the previous period. The paper is based
on the research of publicly available data, interviews with employees
of business centers and the analysis of the collected information.
The topics of the research are publicly available values of total
business infrastructure services and the annual number of newly
established companies in Zagreb County. The aim of the research is
to determine the correlation between total business infrastructure
services and the opening of new companies in Zagreb County. Data
processing was carried out using qualitative correlation analysis.
The information obtained from the research and interviews provides
insight into the impact of business incubators, centers and agencies
on the establishment of new companies in Zagreb County, offering
a conclusion on how these institutions function and their impact on
entrepreneurship in the Zagreb County region.
