Sažetak

The commercial databases accessible to the Croatian academic community via Center for online databases represent a reliable information source easily available to the users. Using a method of descriptive analysis, the paper presents the online full-text journals in the field of biotechnological sciences, food processing and biotechnology, accessible in the commercial databases: Science Direct, Cambridge Journal Online and Springer Link. In April 2009 the databases were searched using key words: "food", "biotechnology", "technology" and "nutrition".
