Sažetak
The experimental design techniques useful for industrial applications are reviewed. The full and fractional factorial designs and also response surface methodology with associated designs for describing the nonlinear responses, as well as computer-aided designs, are briefly
described. Taguchi method, suitable for use in production and quality engineering, is also described. The use of analysis of variance, basic
statistical methods for determining the significant factors, as well as use of multiple linear regression for correlation analysis, process modeling
and optimization, are described and discussed.
