The periodical Jezik has been published continuously since 1952. It is the oldest and one of the most highly regarded Croatian linguistic periodicals – it belongs to the category of A1 periodicals. The periodical publishes articles in the field of the modern Croatian standard language which are classified into the following standing sections: Scientific and Professional Articles, Questions and Answers, Reviews, News, Anniversaries. We are publishing new issues of Jezik on Hrčak with a time delay. Publication of papers in the journal is free of charge. The costs of review, proofreading, graphic design, printing, subscription work and distribution are paid by the magazine Jezik. OA statement: This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
